Numéro d'accession : | 2017.63.7-23 |
Description : | 7 Portraits, multiple artifacts, and several additional archive text items. |
Fonctions : | All items in the 2017.63 accession were received by Brenda Outhouse, daughter of Darrell (Outhouse) Newton of Halifax. Darrells parents , Lottie and Eldred Outhouse, were the last people to live in the house belonging to Heber Outhouse Sr and his wife, Mary Outhouse. Lottie was Hebers granddaughter and she was living in the house tending to her grandmother at the time of her marriage in 1918. Items stored in the attic were removed by Darrell at the time of the house sale and taken to his home in Halifax. Eventually they were stored in Brendas home in East Ferry. With her fathers death in 2017, Brenda began to clean out her home and try to find homes for items no longer wanted. |
