Description: | Men's vest, linen,1/2 basket weave, machine sewn, hand finished, notched collar, 6 mother of pearl buttons, lined and back with white linen, at back are ties with yellow metal two prong buckle, large tear at left back.;;The dating of this vest is also hard: It is made with a sewing machine, but the high cut of the front and the small notched lapels point to an earlier date. A man of good, but conservative taste probably wore this vest. |
