| Description : | This permissible respirator is comprised of a light blue coloured belt clip into which a small rectangular air tank can be inserted. The air tank would be connected to a round blue and black mouth piece. |
| Commentaires : | This permissible self rescuer was used in the Baie Verte mines whenever it was needed for rescue operations. This was important as sometimes carbon monoxide levels in the mine could reach levels that were too high for the miners to breathe, and the only way rescuers would be able to save anyone trapped in the mine was to wear this device while they searched the mine. |
