It is a tool that resembles a modern day compass. It has two arms that are attached by a circular hinge. There are two screw-in parts that adjust the width of the mouth of the apparatus. One of the screws is also attached to the arms to extend them. "Pexto Made in USA" is etched into the side of the tool.
