| Description : | It is a tool known as a ball pein hammer (also spelled, peen and pane). The head of the hammer is cylindrical on one side and a demi-sphere on the other. The handle has white paint splattered on it. The head is attached to the handle with a nail penetrating the centre of the head and the wooden handle. |
| Commentaires : | A ball pein hammer was originally used to hammer welded material because the peen end of the hammer was as flexible as the metal it was hammering. Today, the hammer is rare in metalworking but it is still used to hammer chisels and to cut gaskets. |
