Description : | The artifact is a large metal object consisting of many parts, some that are welded together and some that move. There are rubber tubed along the bottom half of the artifact and the cap of the artifact is painted green. There are various holes drilled into the sides and the top of the artifact as well as several pistons and gears. |
Commentaires : | Merlin engines were made by Rolls Royce. Rolls Royce powered many famous WWII aircraft. The most famous being the Avro Lancaster heavy bomber. Approximately 150 000 Merlin engines were manufactured during World War II. The horse power of these engines ranged from 900 to over 2000 depending on the model. |
