| Description : | The auger is composed of wood and iron. There is a long cylindrical handle that is made of smooth wood. The iron portion of the auger is primarily a long, cylindrical piece of iron. One end of the iron has been wrapped once around the middle of the wooden handle. The other end of the iron projects straight off this piece and begins to spiral near the end. The end of the spiral portion tapers to a sharp point. |
