Description : 1930 Survey Map and Profile Map by the NS Dept of Highways of Amherst's Boomer's Corner and Highway 2. Map's purpose is to show the proposed bypass of Boomer's Corner to slightly straighten the road's path. Map shows a bit of the highway coming from Victoria St West, where it divides at the properties of Cecil Coates and R Embree, and then Hwy 2 continues to the left or the road goes straight toward Boomer Corner. At Boomer Corner it goes 90 degrees left to join Hwy 2. The map shows the Hwy continuing on for a short distance past Crawford Rd. Property owners along the north side of Hwy 2 are Robert Embree, JA Davis, Fred Thompson, and Amos Logan.  The bottom half of the map is a diagram of the land profile of the proposed diversion.
