Illustrated with b & w photographs and prints of portraits and paintings. Blue cloth bound cover; lettering and decorations in gold. Central motif of coat of arms on front cover, with title above and author's name below. Spine marked in 7 fine line bordered rectangles with maple leaf & vine motif between the first five sections. THE " MAPLE" SERIES at top, followed by title, followed by 4 maple leafs, with VALENTINE PUB. CO in small rectangle at bottom. |
| Fonctions : | Runciman house artifact: house built in 1817 by Rev. John Millidge. George Runciman took possession in early 1840s. In 1978 the property transferred to Heritage Canada. Sold to private owner in 2009, at which point many artifacts from the house were given to AHS by Heritage Canada. |
