| Description : | The foot exerciser is a cylindrical vessel that narrows towards the bottom. The cylindrical body rests on slightly wider, seven-sided base. A spherical knob is fastened to the top of the vessel. Retailer information is stamped on the bottom of the base. A printed label indicating the product name is affixed to the side of the vessel. |
| Commentaires : | This foot exerciser was designed and patented by Henry Simon Garner in the United States in 1935. It was sold by McGearys Cantilever Shoe Company located at 145 Tremont St in Boston, Massachusetts. McGearys was known for its flexible Cantilever shoe designs. The company made shoes for men, women and children. The foot exerciser was advertised to relieve tired, cold or aching feet, strengthen muscles and correct swollen ankles. These exercisers were often offered as promotional gifts with the purchase of shoes. |
