Description : Cylindrical two piece vessel with spout and ear handle; orange coloured exterior with white enamel interior;   Lid features a series of round holes in the top 
Commentaires : This vessel was part of a set of household cooking vessels purchased in the Netherlands in the post World War 2 period by Bert and Dreika Bekkers.  They immigrated to Nova Scotia in 1952 and settled in Antigonish County.  This particular vessel was commonly used when boiling milk.
Fonctions : Vessel for heating liquids particularly milk; once milk reaches the boiling point, the design of the lid prevents liquid from boiling over
