Description : | Circular, ceramic chamber pot lid. Forms a shallow dome which is flattened in the center, with a short circular handle. Painted witch a blue and white china pattern of flowers, and has an additional raised pattern of seashells and vegitation. Painting is somewhat blurry and appears to have printed or screened on rather than hand painted. |
Commentaires : | Belonged to Maurice Strum's grandmother, Mary Ann (Giles) Morash, (B. about 1835, D. September 10, 1921) would have been using it in late 1800's. Married local farmer, Alexander Morash, on December 31, 1858. |
