Commentaires : | Eleanors grandparents, Walter P. & Eleanor [Kirk] Willey brought their young family to Canning, N.S., in 1909. One of the things they brought with them was this tongue press. Eleanors mother, Marguerite Kirk Willey, was 9 at the time. Marguerite married William Mackintosh McCurdy. The press passed to Marguerite and then on to Eleanor who used it until it broke a couple of years ago (2002?). |
