| Description: | Green heavy canvas bag, boxy in shape. Has a flap to cover the top to protect the objects that would be carried in it. In the inside of the flap there are three small slots for items. There is a strap and button attached to the flap to secure the closure. On the back there is a buckle that likely would have been used to hang the bag off a belt or other bag. On the back there are also two hooks sewed into the canvas. |
| Narrative: | Used in in the Army by Mechanical Engineer Sgt. Thurston Banks who served from 1942 to 1946. Thurston Banks was born and raised in Rossway, N.S. He was a Canadian Heavy Weight boxer, and was runner up for best in Canada Armed Forces. |
