Peaked Service Hat (N.P.) - Navy blue woollen cloth Officer's dress hat; piping of same material around upper seamline; band of white piping around second and third horizontal seamlines; badge on front of Royal Canadian Service Corps; front peak of black rubber; black rubber chinstrap rests across top of peak and fastens at sides with gold coloured gorget buttons. INT: brim lined with black rubber; brown leather headband; lower crown stiffened and lined with red cloth; red cloth lining in upper crown. Maker's label in crown reads: "William Scully LIMITED / (MARITIMES LIMITED) / OROMOCTO N.B. / FIFTY CRAIG WEST / MONTREAL". "CAPT. H.D. HINDS" in Dymotape in crown.
