Description : An unbleached paper leaflet folded in a precise way to look like Hitler's face but when unfolded is a drawing of four pigs with "Where is the 5th pig?" written in the centre
Commentaires : From notations in the photo album, which was a part of this lot, it is assumed that the original owner of this lot is Private A. B. Palmeter (#F52771) of Falmouth, Nova Scotia. It is unclear from the other items in that lot that he was with the North Nova Scotia Regiment though there are items from Regina Rifle Regiment as well.
Fonctions : A humour piece most likely distributed amongst Allied soldiers. It could have been handed out or mass distributed through a soldier's newspaper.
