Description: Unattributed jungle green American bomber jacket purchased and embroidered by Canadian unit soldier with "23rd Transport Coy / RCASC / Korea"; With front metal zipper closure; With jersey waist band and cuffs; With cloth epaulettes sewn 'closed'; Proper left arm has three pocket and loop holder; With a zipper breast pocket on proper left; With side slash / slit pocket, one on either side of front; Reinforced wrist area; Inside is lined with bright emerald green satine
History of Use: American items were purchased by Canadian soldiers at 'post exchange / px' stores. This jacket in particular was purchased and embroidered as a souvenir and most likely one of a number purchased and embellished.
