One postcard has a banner on the stage curtain containing a Royal Canadian Regiment crest, and the second postcard shows Christmas trees on either side of the stage curtain and "HAPPY NEW YEAR" on the curtain. |

Rutherford, who served with 9th Canadian Siege Battery in the First World War and 53rd Heavy Battery, 1st (Halifax) Coastal Regiment and A23 Coast and Anti-Aircraft Artillery Training Centre in the Second World War. |
