Description : Personal civilian gas mask with box; Rubber and stretch jersey face mask with single oval plastic eye 'window' and circular metal filter at mouth/nose; With adjustable web straps affixed on either side and top (creating a T at the back of the head); With a one piece, clamshell cardboard box and a cardboard insert with circle in the centre to hold filter; Also with a small pamphlet of instructions about "Your Gas Mask".
Commentaires : Handwritten on the outside of the box is "J.E. Crockett / 26 Joseph St. / Halifax, N.S." 
Fonctions : Issued to civilians both in Great Britain and Canada to protect against bombing and possible gassing of the civilian population; Used in civil defence scenarios as well.
