Description: Brown leather lace up skates with metal blades. The blades are entirely smooth. There are no laces included with the skates. Blades are Starr "Ladies Mercury" style skate. Boot size 5 1/2, and has Starr maker's mark stamped on bottom of sole. 
History of Use: Belonged to Dorothy (Rudland) Horne, who skated on Lake Banook in the 1920s. Photo 2011.013.001 of Dorothy and the skates.
