The Iron Worker'. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the MacDonald bridge. Cast bronze figure of an iron-worker, standing on a galvanized steel beam/girder. Aggregate/terrazzo concrete base with 3 steps. 2 small lights installed in base to light figure. Bronze figure was based on an actual archival photograph of a Halifax bridge worker. Rich green/brown patina. Small bronze/painted plaque on base front.
