| Description : | Large black and white photograph of 45 men standing and sitting in front of the Bridgetown Curling Club. These men are dressed in their curling outfits, have their club hats on and many are holding brooms in their hands. Behind them is a wooden clade façade with the sign that reads Bridgetown Curling Club behind them on the building is a sliding wooden door.Photo is done by Cunningham Bridgetown, NS |
| Commentaires : | Colin Mackenzie (donor and grandson of J.D. Mackenzie) states that J.D. Mackenzie was a founding and active member of the Middleton Curling Club, supposedly even donating the land for the clubs establishment. Also has the name of Yarmouth Portrait Co. on the bottom right corner of photo. It would appear that there was a tournament of some sort in Bridgetown that the Middleton Curling Club went to. |
