On the front there is an advertisement for Todays Game Middleton vs. Arrows which was a baseball match. It has two images, one of the best players from the Middleton team and the same for the Arrows. These players are Pete Gaudet one of the principals in the recent fracas in Middleton and Joe Breen Arrows, centre-fielder, hits a long ball when he connects.On the back side of the advertisement it has ads for Birks Jewellers, The Y Taxi, Waddy Specialists, Kays Limited, Leghorn Barbaque, Pilchers Nursery, The Halifax Chronicle, W. E. Mackie, Ltd., Robertsons Variety Store. All information appears to related to the Halifax region. There is also an article titled Jottings discussing baseball. |
