Arichat, C. B., July 21, 1916. My dear Jack,- The shoes arrived last evening and we are all delighted with them. They show the fine stock you keep and also your generosity. We hope to see you down here before long. There are quite a few strangers in town. Aunt Sophie arrived on Tuesday and will spend three weeks. She is boarding at Cutler's and has rooms at Mrs. LeBlanc's, right across from Cutler's. With love and thanks to you both. Your affectionate brother. B. Bourinot P. S. - Marion and Charlie have arrived inn El Paso, Texas, and I believe will stop in the States for some time. Conditions are neither safe or pleasant in Mexico at present.
