July 19/17 London Dear Mother, Am now writing [?] at King's Cross, London at Y.M.C.A. Left Epsom my last Convalescent Hospital on Wednesday for 10 days sick furlough. Went to Glasgow Scotland for a few days & now back to see dear Old London. Have seen all the damage the illegible have done. Been around Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, St. Paul's. Westminster [?] & all, also Madame Toussauds wax Works, etc. This is some City - I have to return to my depot at Shornecliffe on the coast & have been marked [?] base in England as far as I know.
