| Description: | Rectangular picture postcard in landscape format. The front artwork depicts pink flowers, the caption "A Hearty Welcome" and a small poem. The handwritten on the back reads "Dear Emma I received your letter last week more than glad to hear from you I am very sorry that I cant go up this year the time would be so short and so i made up my mind not to go till after planting I will have more time and I will rite to you your flowers were nice please save me a cup of tea please well don't forget to write how the weather is [illegible]. The postcard is addressed to Miss Emma MacKinnon of Crandall Rd, C.B. There is also a one (1) cent Canadian postage stamp on the back. |
