| Description : | This photograph was taken during the construction of the Canal portion of the Canso Causeway. The photo was taken from the bridge with a view of Cape Breton in the background. To the right side of the photograph, a construction site can be seen as there are multiple different materials on the ground. There is also a small hill with piles of rock on top. There is a crane on the left side of the photograph. The canal has been drained with water and there is a construction site in the middle of the canal. There is a close-up piece of the bridge the whole width of the top of the photo. |
