| Description : | Coloured photograph was taken during the Grand Opening of the Canso Causeway. The photo is taken from the top of a hill and overlooks the festivities occurring on the Causeway. Seen on the left-hand side of the image is a man sitting in a chair, wearing a hat and a white shirt. Seen below are three rows of parked cars, and among them are 4 buses. There are bleachers seen along the roadway of the Causeway and a number of people gathered on the road. Part of an orange/red car is seen in the bottom left of the image. |
