| Description : | This photograph was taken during the official opening of the Canso Causeway on August 13, 1955. Two girls can be seen walking in full Piper regalia in the front of the photo. Following behind the two girls, two pipers are carrying a banner that reads "The Gaelic College Macdonald Hundred Junior Pipe Band." Multiple pipers are walking behind the banner. The left side of the photograph has multiple spectators. There are trees in the background scene. |
