| Description : | The back of the photo reads " Part of highway engineers Delegation at lock site ". This photograph was taken during the construction of the Canso Causeway Canal. Multiple people are lined up above one of the Canal walls wearing dress clothes. Balache Point Lighthouse can be seen in the upper left side of the photo along with cofferdams. The mainland can be seen in the background. Large gravel piles can be seen on the opposite side of the people along with multiple different construction materials lying on the ground. |
