| Description : | The image shows a group of 11 men standing in front of a train. The train is inside a large building with large windows. The men are for the most part wearing work clothes, and some are holding tools. There is smoke coming from the train's stack. The men are looking at the camera. The back of the photo reads "These railway station workers stand proudly outside the Roundhouse in Point Tupper. This picture was taken around 1910. Although the names of all these men are not known, some have been identified. far left is M. Doyle, an accountant with the Cape Breton railway who is believed to have later become the President of the railway. Next to him is Conductor William MacEwen; Fifth from left is Nelson Embree; and third from right is believed to be blacksmith Mr. Matheson". |
