| Description : | The back of the photo reads " 1894-1914 used in Canso Strait- was used as a relief ferry from 1902 -1914 just before Scotia II came. In this picture, it had blown away from the shore in Point Tupper. Mulgrave used for transferring trains floundered in a storm. The S.S. Mulgrave was used as a tug boat between 1893-1902 between Mulgrave and Point Tupper. It hauled a barge on which 4 intercolonial Railway cars could be loaded. |
