| Description: | This photograph was taken during the construction of the Canso Causeway. The picture was taken from the Aulds Cove side viewing Porcupine Mountain and Port Hastings. The background scene shows the blasting of the front of Porcupine Mountain. There is a construction scene on the right side of the photograph and the construction of the Causeway can be seen through the mid line. Cape Breton Island can be seen in the distance on the left side of the picture. |
