| Description: | black and white photograph taken during Canso Causeway construction. The photo is taken from the Aulds Cove side of the Strait of Canso and is looking over at Cape Breton. There are trees seen on both the left and right side of the image, and also shown is the partially completed Causeway. There is ice formation on the left side of the Strait of Canso in the image, but the right side and area where the Causeway has not yet been built remain ice free. There are two cars as well as a dump truck and an excavator seen at the bottom of the image. The picture has a white border. |
