| Description: | Black-and-white photograph taken from the top of Cape Porcupine during Canso Causeway construction. The image is taken from the Aulds Cove side of the Strait of Canso, from Cape Porcupine, and looks over at Cape Breton Island. A partially completed Canso Causeway is seen in the Strait, and a construction site is visible at the base of the mountain. Multiple dump trucks are seen on the roadway of the Causeway, "Canso Causeway Project, Strait of Canso, Nova Scotia" is written in white lettering on the bottom left corner of the image. |
