| Description: | Memorial stones for Jane Higgins who died in 1822. Resting in Clough cemetery in Cape Breton. N.S. The stone beside it appears to say "Sacred to the memory of JOHN DUNE (?) Native of Dunkeld Scotland Who Died 3 (8?) A.D. 1828". Two stones can be seen behind the main two in the photo. The Strait of Canso is seen barely in the background. |
