| Description: | The image is a close up of the new Port Hood Academy. You can see the main entrance and the end of the building toward St. Stephens Church. On the back there is space for correspondence, the address and a stamp. |
| Narrative: | Port Hood Academy officially opened September 29, 1911 and was leveled by fire on May 12, 1961. In the image there is not a Port Hood Academy sign above the entrance. The photo is therefore dated pre 1950 as photos of that time have the sign. Also, the Academy is lighter in colour and not red. |
