| Narrative: | The Kinburn took freight and passengers from Halifax to Port Hood Island and Port Hood on a weekly basis in the 1930s. As early as 1916, Lloyd's of London lists the Kinburn is listed as being operated by the Noth Bay S.S. Co. of Port Hood. On December 27th, 1935, the Canadian cargo ship Kinburn, built in 1910, on voyage from Mulgrave, N.S. to Cheticamp, N.S. with general cargo, was wrecked at Cheticamp. |
