| Description : | Pictured is the Red Store in Harbourview. A number of people are congregated in front presumably waiting for the bus. The bus, known as the Blue Goose is parked in front of the store. A lower building is located next to the store. Only the roof is visible as it is obscured by the bus. |
| Commentaires : | The Red Store was operated by "Red" Jack MacDonald. He came to Harbourview from West Bay. The store was on his lot when he obtained the property and he built a house. Jack married Margaret "Peggy" MacNeil of the Shore Road and they eventually moved to Windsor, Ontario. The Blue Goose was owned and operated by Dan Archie MacDonald and driven by his son Roddie MacDonald. The bus ran in the 1930s. George and Anne MacDougall currently reside on this property. |
