Description: Pictured is a view taken from the ice at the Little River. The focus is just below David Jones property. Along the shore one can see logs that were used to stave off erosion. This was referred to breastwork. Eight men are standing at the edge of the breastwork. In the distance is St. Peters Church. Just visible are Port Hood Academy and the steeple of St. Stephens Church.
Narrative: David Jones came to Port Hood in 1914 as the printer of The Port Hood Greetings. His property was located across from E.O. Leadbetters house. In the early 1930s he had a print shop built adjacent to his home.
