| Narrative: | Sir Donald Cameron (D.C.) MacDonald was married to Mary Jane MacKay. Sir D.C. was a lawyer and treasurer for the County of Inverness. In 1911 he was appointed Inspector of Customs for Eastern Nova Scotia. On May 5, 1928 Sir D.C. was constituted a Knight of St. Gregory the Great by His Holiness Pope Pius XI in recognition of his service to the faith. Of the MacDonald children in this photo, Sr. Jane Frances was a CND, John was an engineer in the US, Cameron was an income tax inspector in Montreal and Stewart was a school principal in Dartmouth. |
