| Description : | Jim Baines is sitting on the side of what appears to be a wooden bridge or dock. Two girls are also leaning on the railing. |
| Commentaires : | Jim Baines has been identified as a British Home Child. He first shows up on our area on the 1911 census. He travelled house to house and survived that way. Lillian Beaton remembers him staying at the Beaton home. He was brought up by Christian Brothers and thought himself a priest. He died December 26, 1940 and is buried in St. Peters Parish Cemetery. |
