The names are written beneath the photo. In the centre is the Port Hood Consolidated School crest and the words: Port Hood Consolidated Class of 1999. The frame is plain wood with metal detailing. There is a wire for hanging. |
| Narrative: | Port Hood Consolidated School (PHC) opened in September of 1962. It replaced Port Hood Academy which burned in May of 1961. The school was officially opened on October 16, 1963 by Premier Robert Stanfield. PHC closed in June of 2000 replaced by Bayview Education Centre. PHC was demolished in 2003. |
| History of Use: | The picture was made for Port Hood Consolidated School which closed in June of 2000. The donor, a former staff person, brought the picture home where it remained until the time of donation. |
