| Narrative: | Gilbert McKenna of Shelburne, ship builder, selling land to Samuel McWilliams of Shelburne, carpenter. The land is described as being in two lots, both on the western side of Shelburne Harbour on the shoreline, one comprising about 17 acres and the other 34. The 17 acre lot's survey is anchored at a rock marked with a St. Andrew's cross. The 34 acre lot's survey is anchored to the "surf shore at the Engineer's Reserve". Signatories of the document include Gilbert McKenna, John Dexter, James McWilliam and Cornelius White. |
