One brass military button with the letters GvR under a crown on it. This is believed to be a WWll Military Police tunic button. The button appears to be bent on the right side. The button hole on the back is also bent flat. The metal is discolored and corroded.

Found with a metal detector at the TAAC Grounds in Truro, Nova Scotia. This was found seven to eight inches deep in the ground.

Most corps and regiments had distinctive buttons that would indicated which specific group they belonged to. These would be found on their uniforms.
