| Description : | One cup and saucer set with the illustration of Prince Street, Truro Nova Scotia. The saucer (B) has deep sides with a blue border and gold leaf edges. On the bottom is a stamp that says Royal Winton, Grimwade's, England. The cup(A) is narrow at the bottom with a wide mouth. The mouth of the cup also has a blue border on the inside with gold leafing around the edge and handle. The cup is a squared-off handle. The cop also says Royal Winton, Grimwade's, England on the bottom. The illustration depicted on both of these items is a view of Prince Street looking towards the Civic building. |
| Commentaires : | This set was owned by the donor's parents and was found while cleaning out their house. It is believed to have belonged to Helen Robbie open (1900- 1980) and passed down to Margaret (Robbie) Hutchinson (1928- 2000). |
