| Narrative: | These leather dog tags were given to Weldon Latta upon enlisting for the Second World War. Initially, the military wouldn't take him because he had asthma but as the years wore on, they needed more people to serve their country. They approved his medical test and he did his basic training for infantry at Aldershot. He was ready and waiting for the boat to go overseas when the war ended. |
