Description : Four pins. A) Gold pin in shape of stylized maple leaf of 11 interlocking triangles. Stuck to card of red and white describing significance. B) Small gold pin in same shape as A but with dates at base of maple leaf. Stuck to card of aqua, pink, and purple. C) Two identical pins in same shape, but with gold rims and filled with grass green. Stuck to cards of white and blue. D) Envelope specially produced for Centennial celebration mail-outs.
Commentaires : A) On card: The symbol for the Centennial of Canadian Confederation: Eleven equilateral triangles representing the ten Provinces and the Canadian North, arranged to form a stylized maple leaf. B) On card: Your Centennial Pin 1867 1967 C) On card(s): Centennial Commission/Commission du Centenaire - Same script as A but also in French. D) Envelope which appears to have been produced for the occasion. Printed with maple leaf and date; stamped with leaf; Postmarked April 6, 1967 Ottawa, Ont. Appears to be hand-typed address. Maker: Alert Auto Alarm Co. Toronto Ont. "Manufacturers of metal and wood novelty products.
