| Description : | A handmade carpenter's wooden plane with a wooden handle in the shape of an N standing vertically in a rectangular groove about 10 cm from one end. A vertical oblong hole is cut out for the fingers and the support for the hand has been chipped leaving it pointed. An iron bar, held in place by a wooden wedge goes through the plane on a 45 degree angle and stops level with the bottom. The end of the bar has been tapered to a sharp cutting edge. |
