| Description : | A pocket watch that is gold in colour, with a plastic casing encompassing the watch face. The plastic has yellowed. The watch face is white with red numbers ranging from 5-60 for minutes that are in an outside circle. Black numbers (roman numerals) for the 12 hour clock, ranging from I-XII in a circle directly under the red numbers. Black numbers for the 24 hour clock ranging from 13-24 directly under the roman numerals, in a circle. A circle under all the numbers encompasses the words "American Waltham Watch Co." in the top centre of the circle. In the bottom centre of this cirle is another circle with numbers in a circle ranging from 10-60 and moving hand indicates seconds. At top of watch is a gold knob with a small handle for changing the time. |
| Fonctions : | Awarded to Capt. William E. Trefry for saving passengers and crew of a vessel. 29730 would date the wtach case at 1861 and 4938 252 would date movement at 1890. Dick Dyke confirmed movement dates from 1890. Dial= "American Waltham Watch Co." 1885-1923. |
